Hardware Things is commissioning original pieces on technology and manufacturing on the African continent.
We’re interested in stories about people building hardware, the communities they belong to, and the issues they face. In addition, we are interested in themes surrounding technology and manufacturing: supply chain, funding, policy considerations, and more. Overall, we’re interested in learning new details we had no idea of - these make the best stories.
It’s okay if you don’t have a fully-formed pitch, have never written professionally before, or want to write about something that you built. Send in a one-liner and if we will set up a call to discuss it if it fits our ethos.
